STUDIO TALA SAFAVI
Studio Tala Safavi is a London-based architecture and interiors studio established in June 2021. The practice is committed to the delivery of residential and hospitality projects in the UK and across Europe.
The ethos of the studio is driven by the ambition for thoughtful and well-conceived design in creating holistic spaces. We take great concern for our clients’ needs and work collaboratively with them to deliver the demands of the brief. With the notion of sympathetic integration of contextual surroundings in mind, we strive to encourage innovative and sustainable solutions with a craft-based and soulful approach.
It is important to us to continue to learn as we often seek to work with artisans and craftsmen to explore materials and building expertise.
Our projects span from working with existing buildings including period homes as well as hospitality interior architecture projects, to fully designing residential schemes from scratch. We also provide design consultancy services in these areas.
FOUNDER
Tala Safavi
BA(Hons) Architecture, DipArch, MA, ARB
Prior to founding the studio, Tala worked at London-based practice, Michaelis Boyd Associates where, as lead architect, she led numerous projects including high-end residential homes, hotels, bars and restaurants in London and wider UK. Her portfolio includes working with established brands such as Petershem Nurseries and Locke Hotels.
Tala graduated from Kingston University School of Architecture where she also completed a Masters degree in Art & Design History. She has been a registered member of the ARB after receiving her RIBA part III qualifications from the Architectural Association in London.
